Calendar Art

                                                      My art

Today we started to create our calendar art.
As you can see in the background I chose to do              Checkers. The art is based on my family. The pink
Koru is my mum,the yellow koru is me,the
Blue koru is my dad,the purple koru is my cousin
and the 2 little black koru are my brother and
Sister.  What I found challenging: something challenging was trying not to Smudge the colors.
I thought I was good at drawing the koru.

There are seven players per team on field at one time.
Five subs are off at a time and the whole team gets five interchanges
There are 7 minutes in a half which means there are 14 minutes in the whole game.
They get 2 minutes to have a drink and a brake to be ready for the next 7 minutes half time is in the middle of the 14 minutes
Sudden-death extra time is when the game  goes over time
Conversions must be taken within 30 seconds after getting a try

If you get a yellow card you get a 2 minute suspension
In big competitions there are extra official

How to play my Olympic sevens Game Each player starts off with 1 try.
To remember how many tries you have there are some try cards but when they run out you will have to keep track.
If you get  2 numbers the same then you roll again  BUT  if you get You need to find 3 more people to play with you
  • You also need two dice ,the board, and 4 playing pieces
  • To start the game you need to roll the dice how many numbers on the dice is how much spaces you go
  • You can keep playing until you feel like stopping

Reflections
Something challenging for me was to plan my board game.

Something easy for me was to collaborate.
I had to use the persevering muscle.

P.E Reflection

We were  doing a p.e session. I was a teacher and I had 3 kids in my team their names were James, Leo and Ruby.
We named our team NIKE and the team that we were playing their team name was BOB we were playing Boccia.
My team said I was a good teacher and they were fast learners.
There was no fighting because everybody listened. Something challenging for me was to try hit the jack because we were on a little bump. Something that was easy for me was to get people to listen to me.

Maths Learning

Reflection:
I was learning to work out the perimeter area and volume of my garden box. I worked with a learning buddy who helped me to work out the volume. At first I didn't understand what volume was but then we had a class discussion and I got it. I used the charts in the class to help me, the place value blocks to add up the numbers.
I used the ignoring, questioning and noticing muscles to help me with my learning.

Explanation of a car.
A car is a vehicle that can take you anywhere you want to travel like to Rotorua. I am going to explain the parts of a car.
All cars have a engine to power the car so it can move.
It also has a car battery when a car battery is flat it can't move. In 1876,Nikolaus Otto was the first  person to perfectly build a 4-stroke engine. A car needs a battery otherwise it wont start up.
A car needs wheels to move. A car needs to have a steering wheel to turn corners otherwise you will crash. A car has 4 wheels wheels make the car move.
Lights help you see when you are driving in the dark.
The car won't start if you don't have keys. You need keys to start the engine. A roof will stop the rain from  getting  you wet.wet.

LOST

                                LOST
Last year my uncle my cousin RJ my brother Izrael my dad and I went to the Clive river to ride my motorbike.First of all I put all my awesome gear on which are any sort of boots  except high heels!, grippy gloves, a helmet  and of course you need a motorbike. I sat down on the black comfortable seat.  I turned on the gas and then kick started it. It started rumbling also I could fell it vibrating . The gas tank was full with gas, 2 stroke and gas. It was a nice hot day. I finally followed my uncle through the weeds and grass. It looked like it had never been chopped down. I didn't see the other path and I zoomed down. Luckily I slammed on my brakes. The path lead to the water. I had to shout out to my uncle. He turned around and I wasn't there so he turned his dirt bike off and listened. He heard me. The voice got clearer and clearer until he found me. He put his dirt bike down. I hopped off my motor bike. My uncle pulled it up a steep slope.

My goal was to write better sentences. I think I have done that.
